Mines calculators
In Mines a target multiplier is the payout you would collect by cashing out at that point, so the first calculator gives the chance that one round, under this site's fixed mix of mine counts and picks, pays at least that much. The second turns Spribe's 3% house edge into an average cost for your stake and number of rounds, and the third shows how likely a run of losing rounds is and what a doubling system would have lost by then. Payouts stop at 10,000x, so no target above that can be hit.

Session cost calculator
The house edge applies to every unit you stake. This is the long-run average; a single session can end far above or below it.

3.00
Expected return
97.00
The house edge is 3.0% of every unit staked, so 100 rounds at 1.00 cost 3.00 on average. Winning rounds do not reduce this: the edge applies to the total you put through the game.
Losing-streak calculator
How likely is a run of misses at your target? Worth checking before trying any doubling system.

Units a doubling system loses
255
Aiming for 2.00x, the chance of 8 misses in a row at least once in 200 rounds is 100.0%. A system that starts at 1 unit and doubles after every miss has lost 255 units by the end of that run.
